**Terms and Conditions**


**1. Definitions**

1.1 **Client/You:** The individual or organisation renting equipment or services from the Company.

1.2 **The Company/Us:** Simply Bouncy Castle Hire Limited and its trading names, including Beyond Bounce, Bouncing Higher, and Dartford Bouncy Castle Hire.

1.3 **Wet Hire:** Equipment or services operated and supervised by the Company, indicated by “with staff” in the item title or booked event staff (at an extra charge).

1.4 **Dry Hire:** Equipment or services operated and supervised by the Client.

**2. Ordering**

2.1 By placing an order—online, by phone, email, or otherwise—you agree to these terms and conditions and enter a contract with the Company.

2.2 Online bookings display equipment availability but not specific delivery times. We will inform you if we cannot fulfill your order.

2.3 Ensure you have the necessary permissions from landowners, venues, or councils. You must provide copies upon request. Our insurance and safety documentation are available for review. Contact us with any questions before ordering.

2.4 Our VAT registration number is 388 498 126. We cover VAT for private hires only. Businesses and organisations will incur an additional 20% VAT.

**3. Delivery and Collection**

3.1 Standard delivery times are between 7–11 AM, with collections starting from 5 PM. In winter, collections occur before dark, from 4 PM onwards.

3.2 We cannot guarantee specific delivery times except for venue hires. Requests for timing adjustments may be accommodated but are not guaranteed.

3.3 For home bookings with extended finish times, we offer an overnight service for an additional charge. Ensure items remain inflated overnight and that the area is secure. You are responsible for any damage or loss during this period.

3.4 Venue hires require a minimum of 60 minutes for delivery and 30 minutes for collection. Larger items may necessitate longer time frames.

3.5 Our team will deliver, inspect, and set up all equipment. Responsibility transfers to you once we leave.

3.6 You are liable for any damage, loss, or theft of the equipment during the hire period.

3.7 Ensure adequate access points for the equipment. Some larger inflatables may require direct vehicle access or a minimum width of 1m.

3.8 You must not refuse collection of the equipment for any reason.

3.9 Responsibility for the equipment remains with you from delivery until collection, even if collection is delayed.

3.10 Any delays during setup may incur a charge.

3.11 Overnight hires may result in equipment being collected in a wet or dirty condition, which may require cleaning at the next delivery.

**4. Delays and Breakdowns**

4.1 Delivery and collection times are approximate. We strive to be punctual but are not liable for delays due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., traffic, vehicle breakdowns).

4.2 Report any breakdowns or faults immediately. Do not use the equipment until we confirm it is safe.

**5. Equipment and Ownership**

5.1 All sizes and measurements are approximate.

5.2 Equipment remains the property of the Company at all times.

5.3 The Company reserves the right to change product specifications without prior notice.

5.4 We may substitute booked equipment with similar items if the original is unavailable.

5.5 The Company may use images of the equipment in marketing materials without prior consent.

**6. Location**

6.1 Ensure there is adequate space for safe operation of the equipment. Contact us if unsure.

6.2 If the delivery site is unsuitable, setup will be refused, and you will incur a full charge.

6.3 Equipment will be set up in the agreed location and must not be moved.

6.4 Additional charges may apply for securing equipment on hard surfaces.

6.5 You are responsible for security and crowd control at the event.

6.6 Inform the delivery team of any underground services on-site to prevent damage.

6.7 We will take care when moving through properties, but you are responsible for any damage caused.

**7. Power Requirements and Petrol Blowers**

7.1 Most equipment requires a household 13 amp socket or occasionally a 16 amp socket.

7.2 We provide a standard 25m extension lead, which can be increased to 45m upon request. If further than 50m, a petrol blower will be required at an extra charge.

7.3 You are responsible for ensuring suitable power supplies are available.

7.4 Petrol blowers come with a full tank, providing 2.5 to 4.5 hours of operation. Additional fuel can be provided upon request.

7.5 If using your own generator, ensure it meets the required specifications.

**8. Health and Safety and Supervision**

8.1 You must understand and comply with all health and safety guidelines provided by us and your venue.

8.2 Adhere to user height and age limits and prevent overcrowding.

8.3 Remove all loose items before use.

8.4 Prohibit any substances on the equipment. You agree to pay for cleaning or replacement if items are returned in an unclean state.

8.5 Keep equipment dry. You may incur cleaning fees for wet or dirty items.

8.6 Do not attach anything to our equipment without permission.

8.7 No smoking near the equipment. Ensure users are not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

8.8 Supervise the equipment at all times with a responsible adult present.

8.9 We reserve the right to stop the use of any equipment deemed unsafe.

**9. Liability and Insurance**

9.1 The Company provides public liability insurance covering equipment but not users. You should have your own insurance.

9.2 Users participate at their own risk.

9.3 You indemnify the Company against theft or damage to the equipment.

9.4 You agree to indemnify the Company for any claims arising from the use of the equipment.

**10. Weather**

10.1 We will honor all bookings regardless of weather conditions. We are not liable for any weather-related issues.

10.2 Inflatables cannot be used in winds exceeding 24mph. If conditions become unsafe, we may cancel the service without offering a refund.

10.3 Keep inflatables inflated during light rain and switch them off during heavy rain, ensuring electrical components remain dry.

**11. Quotes, Deposits, Payments, Balances, and Prices**

11.1 Prices are subject to change and include VAT for domestic hires. Additional VAT applies to business customers.

11.2 Written quotes are valid for 7 days.

11.3 Payment details may be stored for outstanding balances or damages. You consent to these charges upon agreement to our terms.

11.4 VAT is applicable to cash payments as well.

11.5 Miscellaneous charges apply for cleaning, loss, or damage to equipment.

**12. Cancellations**

12.1 Cancellations made 48 hours before the hire date will receive a full refund.

12.2 Cancellations within 24 hours will incur full payment.

12.3 Cancellations upon arrival will also incur full payment.

12.4 If the Company cancels for any reason, full payment is still owed.

12.5 Refunds for early cancellations may be converted to future bookings.

12.6 Payments owed will be automatically charged to your card on file after notification.

**13. Complaints and Problems**

13.1 Report any dissatisfaction with the equipment or service immediately.

13.2 Address any issues during the event promptly for resolution. Claims made post-hire will not be accepted.
